DAAAAMMMNNNN!
Can't wait to go home..... but I have to miss a good opportunity then :(
As you all know it, i'm going home on the 2nd of December until the 20th. Really can't wait to get home :)
but on the other hand...
Elephant & Wheelbarrow is going to give its bar staff a free RSA (Responsible Serving of Alcohol) training and certificate. It is a compulsory license for bartenders in Australia. Unluckily, the course will commence on the 3rd of December. Nat told me that she will arrange another course for me when I get back.
no chance to catch my breath
Done with my last exam today, but 3 hours later I got this e-mail from my supervisor :

FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
compiled weekend (drunk-fights, drunk disabled people, Northbridge Festival)
As usual, your weekend days are my weekdays. Friday was quiet, not many people showed up. There were four of us on the floor (me, Chris, James and Bruno). Since it was quiet, James was assigned behind the bar by Dave immediately coz someone didn't showed up (I forgot who it was).
Saturday was a total chaos.
There was a festival in Northbridge area, quite fun actually with the live shows, stalls and things. Too bad I had to work. Once again there were four of us on the floor (me, Chris, Chris MC and Bruno). It was calm before 12, but as soon as the clock hit midnight, the desctruction began... Since the festival ended at 12, many people quickly turned to bars and pubs, most of them were half-drunk. It is quite difficult to go through the crowd with heavy tray on you hand.
The last thing we need are drunk-fights, and it did happen... one guy hit me in the head while I was carrying my tray, there were some half-full glasses on my tray and it poured the guy who happened to stand next to me. I apologized immediately, luckily he didn't mind ("that's okay mate, it's not your fault", that's the beauty of working here, everyone respect you no matter how "unimportant" your job seems to be, as long as it's an honest one). Three of the bouncers quickly dispatched the idiots and took them outside. One of them kicked Ian (one of the managers) on the head so hard he almost fainted. Luckily some policemen showed up immediately and took the culprits away. We were worried about Ian, since he was bleeding so bad, we wanted to take him to the hospital but he refused.
Another drunk idiot smashed one of the window with his crutch... yes with his CRUTCH! And there was one guy in wheelchair, who were drunk and thought he was in some kind of race or something, pulling his wheelchair on the dancefloor hitting other patrons... damn you, I have nothing against disabled people but please dong ahhhhhh
On the funny side, some of my friends showed up (thx to Vodi, Ludo & Romain), but they didn't stay for long since Ludo was half-drunk anyway... they met up with Dagi, Ochel & Poltak at Mustang Bar afterwards. They were planning to go to The Deen but they got refused at the door since they were wearing sneakers (yes, clubs DO enforce dress code here), so they ended up at Geisha. Another incident happened there. Poltak was missing. Dagi & Vodi tried to look for him everywhere but with no result. They were worried because Geisha is also known as a "gay-friendly bar" (it's not an official gay club, but it is well-known among the gay communities). So they headed home without Poltak. Later on, they found out that Poltak was drunk and slept on the toilet in Geisha. How he got home is still a mystery to us all...
